We discovered this beautiful 18th Century stone cottage more than 40 years ago whilst walking the nearby coastal path and fell in love with it.

Sadly when its owner died the cottage was in a poor state and lay empty being deemed unfit for habitation, it had been served with a closing order by the council due to the lack of internal sanitation!

However, over the last 25 years Higher Roskorwell has been sensitively extended by local craftsmen and lovingly restored by ourselves into a comfortable, family-size cottage and beautiful garden, still with the ‘Privy’, plus a parking area to the rear.

It is a haven for flora and fauna sitting perfectly in rural surroundings, 200 feet above sea level with the little fishing cove of Porthallow below, it is a very special place!
